Each year drug courts across the country are awarded grants on a state and federal level in return for data on their clients and recovery plans. Finding which grant is right for your recovery court can be a tough process, so we’ve highlighted five to get you started!
- Adult Drug Court Discretionary Grant Program: This grant provides funding for planning, implementation, and the enhancement of treatment courts of all kinds.
- Grants for Expand Substance Use Disorder Treatment Capacity in Adult and Family Treatment Drug Courts: For 2023, SAMSA is awarding up to $32,400,000 for five years for all programs.
- Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Program Grants: Each year the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention releases multiple grants, including…
- Family Treatment Court Program Grant: This grant is posted each year in April to enhance family treatment courts.
- Improving Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Outcomes for Adults in Reentry: Also coming in April 2023 is the grant that will provide funding for all adults reentering society
These grants will provide funding to your community and drug court program in exchange for information on those you serve. Everything from gender and age to substance of choice and employment status needs to be reported.
Most recovery courts will create forms that collect the data they need and then manually compile that data through spreadsheets. Those spreadsheets go on to be translated through multiple formulas into the stats the grant providers are looking for. This process can be lengthy and if you’re not an excel guru cause a bit of a headache. That’s why One Step has a feature that compiles all the information you need into neat graphs and numbers. All you have to do is have your clients fill out a digital form and we do the rest!
You’ll be stress free knowing that you have a tool that collects the information you’re required to gather and puts it into an easy to read format while your clients enjoy our Recovery App!
