One Step’s team spent some time at Rise 23 Drug Court Conference! We were eager to join up and rub elbows in a place where industry leaders and recovery court operators to explore the latest innovations, discuss sustainable practices, and collaborate. Through the event, we found certain topics had value that those who may not have been able to attend should be informed on. In this post we’ll highlight the talks that we feel are goin to drive meaningful change in the recovery space.

Nurturing Connections: Alumni Programs in Individual Courts

One aspect that stood out during Rise 23 was the emphasis on alumni programs. These programs foster a sense of community, collaboration, and support. They create an ecosystem where past participants can contribute to ongoing learning and progress. We believe that implementing similar programs in treatment courts can lead to sustained progress and reduced relapse rates. By creating connections and providing continued support these alumni programs can enhance a courts efficiency and create an opportunity for participant growth.

Responsible Growth: Randomized Drug Testing for Recovery Court Participants

As your court’s impact in the community grows, you’ll need tools to scale and ensure each participant is held accountable. By using software that assists in the randomization of drug test assignments your staff are unburdened. This simple automation frees up time that allow your recovery court operators to have real time conversations with and connect to your participants. All while the software ensures that the people in your treatment program are fulfilling the requirements that keep them in good standing.

Streamlined Scheduling: Providing an Optimal Experience

Providing a tailored and optimal experience for participants in drug courts is an important aspect to making sure their recovery journey is a positive one. Having a simple and clear solution so that they know when their appointments are and what days they are selected for drug testing makes it easier to focus on becoming sober. One Step has made leaps and bounds in this area by offering user-friendly interfaces and workflows that empower both staff and participants to keep track of their to-dos.

Empowerment for Positive Change: Driving Impactful Solutions

The empowerment sessions at Rise 23 Drug Court Conference fostered diversity, inclusion, and using technology to drive positive social change. By using features, like our data center, that allow users to evaluate the demographics served, drug court operators can be sure that they’re supporting a diverse group of people. This information can be used to receive grants that assist in propping up diversity in ways that the court may have not been able to afford before.

The Rise 23 conference was a fantastic experience for One Step. The discussions on innovation, sustainability, and engagement made our team feel as if we are on the right track to further help the Recovery community! Together, let’s continue shaping a future where tech drives progress, transforms lives, and brings about meaningful change for those in need.
