Now more than ever, the need to connect and collaborate with others is crucial. COVID-19 has forced individuals and programs to rethink how to stay engaged while also practicing the appropriate social distancing measures as well as safety precautions. One Step is passionate about helping the addiction community and we’ve been doing what we can to provide support to our clients and friends within the industry.

Virtual Meet-and-Greet

With conferences being cancelled this year due to the pandemic, One Step decided to host our first ever virtual networking event this past week. The goal was to bring together treatment centers, sober livings, and recovery coaches from all over the nation in one place where we could talk, learn about other programs and their offerings, as well as have a little laugh with some icebreaker games. One of the discussions that came up was how technology and these virtual meetings have allowed people to connect that may never had the opportunity to do so in normal times. If there’s a silver lining, it’s the fact that we can now connect with people wherever they are!

This was a ton of fun and we will definitely be continuing to host these virtual meet-and-greets moving forward. Hope to see you in the next one!

Social Networking Groups

Another way that One Step is doing what we can to connect people within the addiction community is that we created a Facebook group and a LinkedIn group. The goals of these groups are to bring people together where questions can be answered, topics discussed, resources and information shared, and just another place to network with other professionals and programs across the nation.

NEW: CRM feature built into One Step

We take our client’s feedback very seriously and we decided to add in a highly requested feature onto our platform: a CRM. With this new feature, you can now keep track of all of your referral sources in one place. Not only that, with our outcomes tool, you can also track the volume of referrals from each source at a click of a button. We hope that this tool will help you to cultivate valuable relationships for you and your program.

In addition to connecting with others, One Step has also been proactively consulting our clients to help them adapt with the best digital resources to keep them competitive and moving forward. Our software has helped programs not only continue operating remotely, but the client app has been a huge help in ensuring connectivity and engagement with clients and residents. Now is the time to go digital, if you haven’t already.

If there is anything else that One Step can do to help support the addiction community, please let us know. We want to do whatever we can to be a valuable resource for all!
